Joseph Yeung
President
Joseph is a junior double majoring in physics and astrophysics. He loves SPS because it’s a great community of people with similar interests who help him get connected with the Physics/Research community. He also loves the awesome events and speakers. His favorite class he’s taken at UChicago is Cosmological Physics (ASTR 24300), and his favorite areas of physics are Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics.
Eliana Mazin
Treasurer
Eliana is a second-year student who ditched physics for a math major. She also hopes to minor in either Data Science or East Asian Languages and Civilizations. She loves the SPS community because everyone has diverse interests and is super fun to talk to. Her favorite areas of physics are particle physics and astrophysics.
Conrad Wichmann
Secretary
Conrad is a sophomore double major in Physics and Math. He really loves SPS because it gives him the opportunity to spend time with awesome folks who share his love for physics. His favorite class he’s taken at UChicago is Honors Analysis. His favorite areas of physics are particle physics and quantum computing.
