There are two central and related aspects of RSTI: (1) a catalog of the inscribed objects from Ras Shamra-Ugarit and (2) the texts recorded on these objects. The catalog of inscribed objects is an expanded, corrected, and digital form of Bordreuil and Pardee (1989) La Trouvaille Épigraphique de l’Ougarit. For each object, we catalog the object type, script, language, find spot, size, text references, and text description. This information is currently available on the RSTI Data site. Here you can browse objects by excavation season. While some of our text editions are available on the RSTI Data site, we are currently in the process of curating these editions. We hope to make more text editions available in the near future. We are currently working on editions of the alphabetic Ugaritic and the Akkadian cuneiform texts discovered at Ras Shamra.
