SASE

The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) was founded in November 2007 to help Asian heritage scientific and engineering professionals achieve their full potential.

2007 - SASE is Established

The Procter & Gamble Company saw the opportunity to improve the recruiting, retention and development of Asian heritage scientists and engineers via a nationally recognized technical organization with student chapters on college campuses. In 2007-08 P&G provided the initial membership contribution to establish SASE as a 501(c)3 organization.

2008 - First Collegiate Chapter

Our organization established its first collegiate chapter at Carnegie Mellon University.

2011 - First National Conference

Since then we have held our national conferences annually in different cities around the nation.

2012 - First Professional Chapter

Our first professional chapter was established in Denver, Colorado. We now have 6 professional chapters in cities around the US.

2020 - 100 Collegiate Chapters

In 2020, we met a huge milestone by achieving 105 chapters around the US.

2023 - SASE UChicago is Established
