I am a Senior Instructional Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Chicago, where I oversee the collection of undergraduate mathematics courses designed for students in the physical and social sciences. Previously I was a Charles Deering McCormick Distinguished Professor of Instruction in the Department of Mathematics at Northwestern University, where I served as the department’s Director of Undergraduate Studies for a time. Together with Susan Colley, I am a coauthor of the fifth edition of the book Vector Calculus published by Pearson.
