I am a Ph.D student in Comparative Semitics in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago. I am interested in the tense and aspect systems of the Semitic languages and their diachronic developments. I also do research on all aspects of Tunisian Arabic (phonology, morphology & syntax).

Before coming to Chicago, I obtained an MA in Arabic Linguistics from INALCO in Paris where I mostly worked on the history of Maghrebi Arabic.
