UChicagoGRAD will be holding NSF GRFP prep sessions for graduate students planning to apply for the 2019 application deadline. See below for the list of sessions.
To be eligible for the GRFP, students must be U.S. citizens, in their 1st or 2nd year of graduate school, and cannot already hold a graduate degree (although there may be some exceptions here).
Register for these events in advance via GRAD Gargoyle (Events > GRAD Events).
- June 20th, 3:30-5pm: Decoding the NSF GRFP Program Solicitation (hosted in UChicagoGRAD, 970 E 58th Street, 3rd floor)
- June 25th, 12:30-1:30: Personal Statement Mentoring Session with Fred Stafford (hosted in UChicagoGRAD, 970 E 58th Street, 3rd floor)
- July 18th, 1-3pm: NSF GRFP Personal Statement Writing Workshop (hosted in UChicagoGRAD, 970 E 58th Street, 3rd floor) – will be able to accommodate 8 students
- July 25th, 1-3pm: NSF GRFP Personal Statement Writing Workshop (hosted in UChicagoGRAD, 970 E 58th Street, 3rd floor) – will be able to accommodate 8 students
- August 13th, 12:30-1:30: Research Statement Mentoring Session with Fred Stafford (hosted in UChicagoGRAD, 970 E 58th Street, 3rd floor)
- September 19th, 1-3pm: NSF GRFP Research Statement Writing Workshop (hosted by Anne Janusch in UChicagoGRAD, 970 E 58th Street, 3rd floor) – will be able to accommodate 8 students
