A Data Use Agreement (DUA) is required to transmit or receive data. The DUA is a contract that defines the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both those providing data and those receiving it. Each DUA is different, based on permitted use, security requirements, and the nature of the data being shared.
Join us for an overview of the DUA process. We will present on how to create and submit a DUA request in AURA and provide an overview of research computing, technical support, and data security resources that are available through SSD and Harris IT. This workshop is appropriate for faculty, postdocs, research staff, and students who are engaged in or hope to engage in research that requires the use of protected or external data.
This session will include presentations by:
Diana Boeglin, Director, Research Contracting, University Research Administration
Martha Camargo, SSCS SSD Divisional Security Officer
Seiya Kawashima, Research System Administrator, Harris Public Policy IT Department
Presentations will be followed by Q&A.
