National Science Foundation logoJoin us for a virtual workshop on applying for the NSF Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant (DDRIG).

Organized to help students prepare for application deadlines over the summer, this workshop will provide an overview of the NSF DDRIG programs and what they fund, application components and process, and deadlines. We will also review the submission process for DDRIGs in Sociology and Political Science. We will then offer tips for writing the proposal, advice on the planning timeline and proposal development, and strategies for success.

Please note that U.S. citizenship is not a requirement to apply for a DDRIG.

Presenters:
Kevin Doherty, Director of Fellowships and Writing, UChicagoGRAD
