For guests who will be attending the symposium on March 2-4, please find below some information on traveling to and from Hyde Park, navigating the UChicago campus, and booking hotel accomodations.

Parking
Street parking on the day of the symposium is likely to be very limited. Below are some additional parking options for guests who will be bringing vehicles.

Campus North Parking Garage

Kimbark South Parking Garage

- 2-3 hours – $17

- All day Saturday and Sunday is $11 for 24 hours.

Public Transit
The Chicago Transit Authority has several bus routes that run through Hyde Park.
Mon-Fri, 7:15am-6:20pm, Sat, 8am-6:20pm.
Services Lake Shore Drive/54th Street and the 55th-56th-57th Street Metra station. Travels to campus on 55th Street and Ellis Avenue, then circles around campus. University students, faculty, and staff, and University of Chicago Medicine staff, ride route #171 free upon displaying a valid UChicago-issued ID, University of Chicago Medicine ID, or Laboratory Schools or Charter School ID.
