Madeline Anderson

Madeline Anderson is the first black woman to have produced and directed a televised documentary film and the first black woman to have produced and directed a syndicated television series. She is best known for her films Integration Report One (1960), A Tribute to Malcolm X (1969), and I Am Somebody (1970), and she was inducted into the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame in 1992.
