Tracie Morris is a multi-disciplinary artists and Professor of Poetry at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and author of 10 books. A Guggenheim and Creative Capital fellow, Tracie’s poetic installations and performances have been presented at the Whitney Biennial, the New Museum, FENDA, Poetry Africa, and Centre Pompidou among many national and international venues. Her debut short film, Black Spring, was commissioned in 2021 by the Obermann Center and Cinematic Arts of the University of Iowa.
