Please join us next Wednesday, when we join the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe Workshop in welcoming Kira Thurman, Assistant Professor of History and German at the University of Michigan. Prof. Thurman will be discussing the introduction to her book, Singing like Germans: Black Musicians in the land of Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. Professor Alice GoffAssistant Professor of German History and the College, will provide commentary.

 

Please note that this meeting will take place in the John Hope Franklin Room, in the Social Sciences Building, Room 224.

It will NOT be held in our usual location in the Logan Center.
