David Gonzalez-Maldonado: Development of Gamified Experiences to Foster CS and Quantum Information Science Career Aspirations

This development proposal aims to leverage the current work being done to address the inequitable nature of computer science (CS) educational outcomes in order to prevent such an achievement gap from forming in the fledgling field of Quantum Information Science (QIS). We aim to do this by addressing the following overarching question: “How can gamification principles be leveraged to create engaging experiences that foster interest in QIS while also teaching core CS principles?”
