Please join the Theater and Performance Studies Workshop for a screening and discussion of Opera Cabal’s most recent operaSHOP work “The Slumber Thief” with Executive Director Majel Connery and Dramaturg Joseph Cermatori. operaSHOP is a vehicle dedicated to the radical critique of opera in the 21st century. Their new production features artists Phyllis Chen and Robert Dietz who conjure a minutely expressive dreamscape using toy pianos, music boxes, and an array of sonic and visual oddities.
