Quest:  a circus-theater adaptation (in process) of Tolstoy’s The Three Questions

Leslie Buxbaum Danzig will present on a work-in-progress circus-theater adaptation of Tolstoy’s The Three Questions, which she is currently developing with the The Actors Gymnasium (production premieres in Feb-Mar 2017).  After introducing some key concepts that guide her work (through description and showing excerpts from previous works), Leslie hopes to engage participants in a workshop discussion around problems/questions she is currently encountering in preparing this new work.

Monday, Oct 17, 4:30-6pm

Logan 801

Leslie would like participants to read the following Tolstoy story, and check out John Muth’s children’s book adaptation.
