There are several options for getting help with moving your UChicago Sites website to Voices. These options include accessing online documentation to guide you through the migration process, attending in-person office hours to get individual assistance, and requesting further personalized help from Web Services staff.
Migrate UC Sites Website to Voices
The first step in the process is to create a new Voices site. After your new Voices website is created, you can start moving your content from your UC site.
There are a couple ways to move (migrate) your website content to Voices. If your UChicago Sites website is still live (online and findable at its sitename.uchicago.edu address), you may cut and paste content directly from your UC site into your Voices site. All UChicago sites whose owners have communicated a migration plan to Web Services will remain online until 8/1/19. After that date, site owners must request a site archive in order to access their UC site’s content.
