12/5: Arthur Clement, “Religious Science”

Dear Colleagues,

Join us for the next session of the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe Workshop as we welcome Arthur Clement, PhD Candidate in History. Arthur’s paper, entitled “Using the Human Sciences to Merge Christian and Scientific Ideals: Liberal Protestants and French Republicanism, 1840-1880,” is now available in the section “Current Paper” and on Canvas. Commentary will be provided by Natalie Smith, PhD Candidate in History.

We will meet in the John Hope Franklin room in Social Sciences next Wednesday, 12/5 at 5pm. A short reception will follow.
