Please join the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe Workshop next  Wednesday, November 11th from 4:30-6:00pm CST for the third session of the new academic year. We are excited to have Abigail Bratcher, PhD Student, Department of History, who will be presenting her dissertation prospectus, “Knowing the Kazakh Steppe: How Pedologists and Peasants Created Knowledge of Steppe Soils, 1891-1976.” Julia Mead, PhD Student, Department of History, will provide comment.
