Kenneth Moss @ TAMEW, September 29th 5:30-7:00 pm CST on Zoom

Dear Colleagues,

Please join the Transnational Approaches to Modern Europe Workshop this Wednesday, September 29th from 5:30-7:00 pm CST for our first session of Fall Quarter 2021. We are excited to have Kenneth B. Moss, Harriet and Ulrich E. Meyer Professor of Jewish History and the College. Professor Moss will be presenting “National Renaissance and International Horizons: Editors’ Introduction to the Posen Library of Jewish Culture and Civilization, v. 7,” co-authored with Israel Bartal. There will be no discussant for this paper; rather, we aim to host a conversation about the tasks of synthetic historical writing inspired by Prof. Moss’s introduction to a forthcoming collection of primary sources on Jewish cultural, intellectual, and political life around the globe from 1880 to 1918.

Our meeting this week will be held over Zoom. For assistance accessing the meeting link, contact either ehoffenberg@uchicago.edu or mradams@uchicago.edu.

**Due to a scheduling conflict, this workshop will be held from 5:30-7:00 pm CST.**

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Kind regards,

Madeline Adams & Elena Hoffenberg
