Panel Design Overview

  1. Choose markers
  2. Choose fluorophores
  3. Pair markers and fluorophores using Aurora-specific tools
  4. Test panel on cells of interest

The video below provides a tutorial for designing an Aurora panel. There are also several papers that provide excellent guides for panel design and optimization. For tools to assist in panel design, see the Panel Design Tools resource.

The first paper provides a guide for designing a panel, while the second paper goes through the process of optimizing the panel and checking the quality to determine if all populations and markers of interest can be properly resolved.
