“One of my most favorite movies of all time is ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’ (2004), starring Kate Winslet and Jim Carey.

“Joel (Carey) decides to erase his ex-girlfriend, Clementine (Winslet), from his memories after he learns that she has erased him from her own memories. The film follows Joel throughout the erasure process as he comes to regret his decision but cannot stop the process.

“I love the film-making tricks it uses (almost all practical visual effects!), the acting is superb, and the story line really resonates: who hasn’t wanted to be able to forget someone after being hurt?”
