Sylvie is an effectively-graduated 4th year who does origami because it is fun! Sylvie loves how it is magic, where through shared and developed skill you can literally breathe life into raw paper. Sylvie really enjoys how teaching is so fundamental to sharing origami; since the field of possibilities is so vast, it is very hard to come up with a completely unoriginal model, and the diversity of techniques, styles, and final results means that sharing models you and others make is always fresh and interesting. Sylvie loves how dynamic and free-flowing teaching and folding origami can be, and is always excited to further explore this lovely pursuit.
Sylvie adores the minute rose. It’s lovely quick and offers you a HUGE amount of variety in every decision you make while folding. The rose works out on a wide range of paper sizes, and often brings out the best in patterned/foil paper. Especially how quick you can make it, the minute rose is one of the best models for gifts and dates! Thank you Ronik for first showing this to me and to my dear friend Elise for helping me figure out how to finish it :>
