Felipe Rojas on the Political Ganymede January 20 at noon

Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you all to the first meeting of the Western Mediterranean Culture Workshop for the winter quarter THIS FRIDAY at noon in Wieboldt 207.  We are pleased to welcome Felipe Rojas, Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures who will be presenting and discussing a paper entitled: “The Political Ganymede: Lope de Vega’s Las mujeres sin hombre (1613-18): A Metaphor of Habsburg Dynastic Marriages”.
Gregory Baum, Ph.D Candidate in Comparative Literature will act as respondent.
This workshop also counts on the co-sponsorship of the Renaissance Workshop.
