This year, WiC+ is excited to start a new seminar series for UChicago women+ in STEM that will feature female faculty in the Chemistry Department and other adjacent departments. The faculty will talk about their career path and what choices and opportunities they made along the way, as well as reflect on what their experience as a woman in STEM has been like. We hope that this series will provide a chance to get to know our Chem. Dept. faculty outside of research contexts, and to ask questions about career preparation. Looking forward to seeing you there!
The first installment in this series will be given by Professor Sarah King on Wednesday, 11/2/22 at 4PM in Kent 114.
Future talks will be given by Ka Ye Lee (Provost, Chem.), Weixin Tang (Chem.), Allison Squires (PME), and Laura Gagliardi (Chem.).
