Notes: I decided to use Adobe Sparks (as suggested during the Friday workshop and inspired by Alie!) for the project because it allows me to incorporate various media elements such as images, videos, split page text-image options, etc. I also employed a graphic design tool (Canva) in order to portray some of my materials as a visual different from plain text. The use of images was particularly helpful in fathoming what some traditional practices would look like, given no prior exposure to them. Much of the writing in this project are personal reflections and analyses, making this closer to an auto-ethnographic piece of work. I actually had some trouble figuring out how to share this presentation since it only lets me share via email. To counter that obstacle, I just screen recorded a walk through of the project and uploaded it as a youtube video. The only external media within the project is the home video that I shared in class, so I’m glad that people have already seen that part. I’ll still link it the individual video in this post in case anyone wants to see it again.
