Academic Rigor Performative Perfection: A Speaker Event

This Wednesday, Feb. 1st, join Active Minds for a conversation on academic rigor with our guest speakers: Professor Eugene A. Raikhel from The Department of Comparative Human Development, Syedah Cabell from the University Community Service Center, and Tamar Daskin from the University’s academic advising team. Our speakers will talk about their experiences with academic rigor and how they are working to change the idea of academic rigor that predominates in a college setting. Active Minds will provide light refreshments! See you at 7:00 pm in Harper 130 🙂

we’re tired – An Open Mic on the Costs of Academic Rigor

This Friday, Feb. 3rd, join Active Minds for an open mic on academic rigor, featuring Catcher in the Rhyme (a poetry RSO), the Music Forum (a music RSO), and other artists. We’ll see you at Logan Cafe starting at 7:00 pm for a guaranteed good time!

On Wednesday, November 2nd, join us for “Escape from RealiTEA (with Realitea Tea-V): a teavening with Acteave Minds”! Take a break with us by watching The Great British Bake Off and enjoying FREE tea and pastries (including gluten free and vegan options)!! This event is FREE and OPEN TO EVERYONE because everyone (yes, including you) deserves joy, community, and rest. See you from 5-7 pm in Harper 102 on Wednesday for some care and wholesome content!
