I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Political Science Department and a second-year M.S. student in Statistics (dual-degree) at the University of Chicago. I hold a M.A. in Political Science and International Relations and a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from Seoul National University.

My research interests include authoritarian politics, Chinese politics, and the politics of law in China. I am also interested in developing quantitative research methodologies that overcome the limitations of data compiled from authoritarian countries.
