Tim studies topics in the Sociology of Medicine, Science/Knowledge, and Death and Dying. His current research project examines the contemporary practice of palliative medicine, and how healthcare providers render treatment recommendations to patients suffering life-limiting and terminal illnesses. Beyond empirics, Tim is interested in the Philosophy of the Social Sciences, particularly social ontology.
