Mihael Hategan-Marandiuc

I got my PhD in Physics at UC Davis in 2019. Before (and during) that, I worked jointly at UChicago and ANL in various roles. And before that, I got my BS in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
On the physics side, I am interested in formally understanding gauge theories and, in particular, understanding the structure of the Hilbert space of gauge theories.
On the computer science side, I am interested in ways to express parallel computation (such as parallel languages and APIs) as well as scientific computing and how to make better science through the use of computers.
