When can I apply for the next round of I-CARE Program Mini and Seed grants?

I-CARE Program Mini Grant applications will be awarded throughout the year on a quarterly basis or until funding allocated for Mini Grants has been allotted for that year. Applications are due and reviewed quarterly in April 15th, July 15, October 15th, and January 15th, with funding to start July 1st, August 1st, November 1st, and February 1st.

I-CARE Program Seed Grant applications will open annually February 1st with applications due by April 15th.

Can I apply for multiple I-CARE Program grants at the same time?

No; individuals and project teams are permitted to submit only one application during each grant cycle. For more details, please visit our funding page.

Can I-CARE Program funding be used to cover faculty time?

No, funding cannot be used to support a sponsor, PI, or co-investigator’s effort. For more information about I-CARE Program budget guidelines, see our funding page.

Can I-CARE Program funding be used to cover ongoing program implementation?

I-CARE Program funding is meant to support new implementation science and quality improvment projects. At this time, funding cannot be used for ongoing, established projects or to support faculty. For more details, please visit our funding page.

Can I-CARE Program funding be used to support publication, presentations, or other disseminations costs?

I-CARE Program funding is not meant to support dissemination costs of an ongoing project, unless it is included in the application budget of a new implementation science or quality improvement project.
