Maiwen Amegadie

Diversity in Cancer Research Program summer undergraduate student

Maiwen is an undergraduate studying to receive her B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At U of I, she works in the Anakk lab studying the effect of bile acids on liver cancers.  As a 2022 Diversity in Cancer Research Program student, she studied with Ningfei An on the role of CUX1 in intestinal epithelium homeostasis.
