Stephanie Konecki

Graduate student

Stephanie received her Ph.D. with Dr. McNerney as a student in the Committee on Immunology at The University of Chicago. Prior to joining the lab, she received a B.S. in both Integrative Biology with Honors and Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.  She completed a REU at Scripps Research Institute before coming to Chicago. Stephanie’s thesis was on the transcriptional regulation of erythropoiesis.  She was supported by Immunology Training Grant T32 AI007090.  Stephanie received the 2019 Donald Steiner Award and the 2019 Robert C. and Mary Jane Gallo Scholarship Fund award.  She is currently a computational biologist in Dr. Max Siebold’s lab at National Jewish Health, Denver, CO.
