MEMORY RESEARCH LABORATORY | DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY
We conduct scientific research on human memory and its relationship to other neural and psychological processes. Memory is critical to our understanding of the past, our current goals and actions, and our plans for the future. Our brains use memory to create a sense of reality, providing the foundation for our knowledge of the world and our selves. In the Memory Research Lab, we use a variety of research tools to study the mechanisms that drive memory accuracy and distortion in different contexts, with the ultimate goal of improving cognition and quality of life.
