We are pleased to welcome Jennifer Iverson to our study group for the inaugural meeting of this school year: Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 4:30-6:00 pm in Goodspeed 205!

Jennifer will be presenting her chapter, “Techno-Synthesis: From Vocoder Speech to Electronic Music,” which explores the history of the vocoder as it threads together issues of gender, war, and modern music.
