Please join the Religion and Ethics Workshop and Ethics Club on Monday, November 28th at Noon in Swift Hall, room 201, for a discussion with Prof Hans Joas, Professor of Sociology and Social Thought.  We will be discussing a recent article by Prof Joas entitled “Punishment and Respect: The Sacralization of the Person and Its Endangerment.”  This article is a preliminary version of one of the chapters in Prof Joas recent book entitled “The Sacredness of the Person.
