Our Pritzker School of Medicine Experience in Research (PSOMER) student, Zachary Chen, presented his work on menin inhibition in ALL. We enjoyed working with Zach during his eight week summer rotation in the lab.

Dr. Saygin starts a CHIP Clinic at the University of Chicago

July 5, 2023
Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) is a multi-system syndrome and increases the risk for blood cancers, cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune disease, chronic kidney and liver diseases. As the scientific community recognizes its impact across medical disciplines, Dr. Caner Saygin started a multidisciplinary CHIP Clinic at the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. This clinic serves to understand the factors associated with progression of CHIP, and bring new therapies for individuals with high-risk CHIP.
