At long last, we are pleased to announce that we will be holding our previously postponed Shiʿi Studies symposium, “‘But By the Love you Bear my Kin:’ Devotion (Walāya) and Shiʿi Islam,” on May 12th-13th, 2023, on the University of Chicago campus.

The event will take place in Swift Hall, 1025 E 58th Street, Chicago, IL 60637.
