This large hostel is located in downtown Chicago at Congress and Wabash.
Room rates start at $34 a night, with free breakfast.

Transportation around campus
Hotels to campus: The Hyde Park Hyatt and La Quinta offer shuttles to campus. Hostelling International Chicago is one block from the Metra train station at Michigan Ave. and Van Buren Street. The train ride is about 15 minutes to the 59th Street Station on the campus of The University of Chicago.

Parking on campus: Street parking is free in Hyde Park, but campus parking is also available.
