SpintechX will be held at the Hotel InterContinental, a world-class hotel located directly on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, a bustling corridor of commerce and activity that serves as the main thoroughfare between the Loop business district and the Gold Coast. This prime location serves as the perfect stepping-off point for any first-time visitor or returning traveler and provides easy access to the full range of Chicago cuisine, shopping, culture, history, entertainment, and night-life – much of which can be found within walking distance of the hotel doors!

The University of Chicago has arranged for all Spintech attendees to receive a preferred room rate at the Hotel InterContinental for the duration of the conference. The discounted rates are as follows:

Double: $209.00
Triple/Quad: $209.00 + additional $20.00 per guest

Spintech attendees are responsible both for the cost of their stay and for making their own reservations. Reservations can be made over the phone by calling the Hotel at 800-628-2112 or 312-944-4100; to receive the preferred rate, simply mention “SpintechX” during the reservation process. To make a reservation online, follow the link here and click “Change Search” to select the number of guests and desired dates. If you wish to extend your visit to Chicago beyond the conference dates, a call to the Hotel may allow you to stay for several more nights at the discounted rate.

This discount expires after Friday, May 31, 2019, so be sure to make all arrangements well in advance. All rooms will be available for check-in no later than 3:00 p.m. with a check-out time no later than 12:00 p.m. Guest cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid charges.
