What is the Umbrella Initiative?
In 2004, a number of campus technology organizations gathered to create events to introduce faculty to the technology services available on campus. The Umbrella Initiative includes a number of local support organizations, including the BSD Academic and Administrative Applications Group, the Center for Research Informatics, Chicago Booth Information Technology, College Information Technology, the Computation Institute, the Divinity School Technology Coordinator, Humanities Computing Services, IT Services, Logan Media Center, the Office of the University Registrar, Physical Sciences Computing, Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering(PME), Research Computing Center, Social Sciences Computing Services, SSA Information Technology, the University of Chicago Library, and the Visual Resources Center.
