2015
Mijo Simunovic, a graduate student in The Voth Group earned a Ph.D at the University of Chicago doing theory and a separate Ph.D in experimental research in the group of Patricia Bassereau at Institut Curie in Paris. In Paris, he graduated with the highest honors and felicitations of the jury (très honorable avec félicitations), which is awarded to the top 5% of PhD graduates.
