Timothy Loose
Graduate Student
Department of Chemistry, The University of Chicago
Tim Loose attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a B.S. in biochemistry in 2017. At UT Tim worked with Dr. Ron Elber on simulating the folding mechanisms of small proteins.
Research Interest:
I am interested in molecular simulation and in particular developing models that accurately capture physical emergent properties of biological systems. While I am mainly interested in creating predictive models that can explain protein folding, I am currently working on designing coarse grained lipid models.
