Staff development and learning is our goal 

Alumni Relations and Development is responsible for engaging alumni and raising funds that support the University of Chicago’s mission to be a world-leader in academics, research, and patient care. Whether a frontline fundraiser or a development support role, every ARD staff member is critical to fulfilling our mission. We believe that our ambitious goals can only be met when staff have the right knowledge, skills, and relationships to be successful. Toward that end, ARD manages a robust suite of training and development programs that:

quickly acquaint new staff to the ARD environment
equip staff to be efficient and effective in their roles
develop leaders from within the ARD organization
and are deliberate, consistent, coordinated, and clear
