FAMILY DAYS AT THE SMART MUSEUM OF ART
Held on the first Saturday of every month, the Smart’s free family activities are designed to inspire children to think about and respond creatively to art and the world around them.

VIRTUAL FAMILY DAYS AT THE SMART MUSEUM
Artist and museum educator Erik Peterson brings the fun and innovative hands-on art-making of the Smart Museum’s monthly family days into your home in a series of instructional videos. The projects are inspired by the art and artists featured in the Museum’s exhibitions and collections, and, where possible, make use of materials and tools that participants might already have around home or in their recycling bin.

LOGAN CENTER FAMILY SATURDAYS
Families can sample an assortment of activities during this monthly series featuring workshops, film screenings, drop-in sessions, and more. Free thematic art experiences cultivate artistic curiosity for youth ages 2–12 led by local artists, art organizations, and UChicago students. Join families both online and in person.
In-person workshops are held at the Logan Center for the Arts on the first Saturday afternoon of every month from October through June. The Logan Center also features virtual workshops on its Facebook page on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.
