Come celebrate Halloween in the OI Museum! We will have crafts, tours, scavenger hunts, candy, and a ticketed lesson about the mummification process. Help us make tomb offerings as a craft downstairs or take a break to get face paint. Join a 20-minute tour that highlights the spookiest artifacts we have. Grab a scavenger hunt to explore the galleries and earn a prize or go upstairs for a candy break.
Looking to learn? Register in advance for a 30-minute engaging and interactive lesson about the mummification process—learning how it is done, where archaeologists find it, and most importantly: why people did it. Price: Free.
To register, visit The OI’s Eventbrite.
**All programs will be posted on Eventbrite at least 1 month prior for registration
Museum Admission: free with suggested admission fee (payable at entry), open Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. (no reservation required)
