Welcome back to a new academic year and to the fall quarter of the Ancient Societies Workshop. As was announced at the end of last year, I will be the student coordinator of Ancient Societies for the 2014-2015 academic year, and the faculty sponsors are Chris Faraone and Sofia Torallas. We are very excited for our lineup of fall quarter speakers:

Please note that the workshop will typically meet at 3:30 pm on Tuesdays, with the exception of Kassi’s presentation on December 2nd, which will take place at 5pm.
All workshops will meet in Classics 21 and will be followed by the traditional wine and cheese reception, unless otherwise noted.
