There’s a great new option for outdoor dining on 53rd Street – at the Mesler Kitchen | Bar | Lounge patio, “The Sanctuary.” The climate-bordered outdoor area offers socially-distanced tables, heating lamps, and an igloo for a unique private dining option ideal for parties of 2-6 people, available for reservation.
The restaurant has updated the brunch menu with breakfast favorites including crab cake eggs Benedict, French toast, and omelets; and lunch options such as shrimp and grits, burgers, and a Maine lobster roll. The all-day lounge menu includes appetizers, soup, salad, pasta, sandwiches, and burgers. The drink selection includes custom cocktails, wine, and beer. Mesler’s cocktails are also available for pre-order in individual bottles to take home – choose from the Juniper Dragon, Pineapple & Basil Julep, Autumn Sidecar, Mango Margarita, and 53rd Street Old Fashioned.
Mesler is managed by food and beverage director, George Barrett, who developed the restaurant’s popular holiday market events in December, with cocktail and pasta kits, Mesler gift bundles, and gift cards available for purchase. Barrett is currently planning special menus for Easter and Mother’s Day.
