Chinese New Year 2021 is Friday, February 12, marking the beginning of the lunar new year on the traditional Chinese calendar – the Year of the Ox.
The holiday is associated with several regional customs and traditions, such as an annual reunion dinner for Chinese families, considered to be one of the most important parts of the yearly celebration.
Jade Court Restaurant, located at 1516 E. Harper Court, is offering a special New Year’s feast menu with eight courses symbolic of prosperity, health, happiness, and more. The feast serves 4-6 people for $188, and includes:

Jade Court’s feast is available for pre-order by calling 773-966-4106 before Thursday, February 11, for pickup on Friday, February 12 or Saturday, February 13. You may pick up the feast at the restaurant or arrange for delivery in Hyde Park or the South Loop. Other delivery areas can be arranged with prior notice.
