Please join us for the second Mass Culture Workshop of the 2015-2016 academic year on Friday, October 16 at 10:30 AM in Cobb 311. We will be welcoming Richard Davis, Ph.D. candidate in Cinema and Media Studies and East Asian Languages and Civilizations; he will discuss “Speed Jidai and the Modern Musical,” a chapter in progress from his dissertation Wit and Wordplay: The Japanese Wartime Film Musical, 1931-1945.
