Melodrama, Modernity, and Bittersweetness
This presentation is on a new project about “bittersweet” as a modern emotion represented in mainstream cinema where it is often underwritten by music.

He has published on nineteenth-century music, music and film, Adorno, and on the psychology of audiovisual memory.
